To set up your voice mail call your phone number from any phone and press #. Follow the voice prompts and enter the default Personal Identification Number (PIN): 1234#. Or, alternatively you can access your voice mail by dialing *36 from your home phone and following the voice prompts.
Step 1
Click Check my email in the customer login area above. Next, enter the provisional username and password you provided to our sales reps. The username and password will also be sent to the email address you provided.
Step 2
Follow the simple on screen instructions to update your email password and information.
Digital Phone Features – 3 Way Calling
To make a 3-way call, hook flash (hang up briefly) to place the call on hold. When you hear the dial tone, call the 3rd party. When the 3rd party answers, hook flash (hang up briefly) again to join all three parties.
Digital Phone Features – Call Forwarding
To set up call forwarding dial *30; then enter your PIN (default is 1234#) and follow the friendly voice prompts to complete set up.
Sending a Voice Mail to Your Email
Step 1
Click on Manage my account in the customer login area above. Enter your username and password, as created when you signed up for service. Click Login.
Step 2
Go to My My Phone Services, under Voice-mail, check Forward to e-mail and either pick the default email, or enter a new one.
Step 3
Click Save and all new voicemail messages will be sent to your email in a .wav attachment.
Receiving a Fax by Email
Step 1
Click on Manage my account in the customer login area above. Enter your username and password, as created when you signed up for service. Click Login.
Step 2
Go to My Phone Services, under Voice-mail, check Forward to e-mail and either pick the default email, or enter a new one.
Step 3
Click Save and all faxes that go to voicemail will be sent to your email in a .tif attachment.
Additional Email Addresses
Step 1
To set up this feature you will need an Open Range email account. If you do not have an email account see above or call Customer Care at 1.877.739.0888.
Step 2
Login to your Open Range email above. Before you enter your username and password make sure youve selected check my email in the customer login area.
Step 3
Once youre into your inbox click on the enterprise button. Its the last icon on the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Step 4
Click Create Account and fill out the information before clicking Next. Finally, ensure the Open Range Home 8 button is selected and click Finish. You can log into your additional email accounts via the customer login area.
